Position Description
The Executive Coordinator for the Vice President of Mission
Integration is a critical role that provides high-level administrative support.
The position reports to the Vice President for Mission Integration and works
closely with the Assistant Vice President for Mission Integration and the
Director of Campus Ministry.
Administrative Support for the Vice President for Mission
Integration (75%)
- Manages the calendar and calendar requests of the VPMI for daily, internal, and external commitments.
- Coordinates, supports, and prepares meetings for the VPMI and the Division of Mission Integration.
- Prepares materials, communicates logistical information, records minutes, and coordinates catering and meeting spaces for Divisional committees.
Additional Support for the Vice President for Mission
Integration (25%)
- Support Chrome River budget reconciliation for VPMI.
- Support travel arrangements for VPMI including booking flights, hotels, and other details of business travels.
- Maintain the Divisional and Office of Vice President for Mission Integration internet and intranet.
- Work closely with other administrative support staff in the Division to coordinate office and center activities with office of the VPMI.
- Other duties as assigned. In rare cases, some activities may
require evening and/or weekend work.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree and five years previous administrative
support experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as
those listed above.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to convey information effectively and engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
including the ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently in a timely
manner with competing priorities and multiple deadlines.
- Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). General proficiency with other Microsoft Office
365 applications, including OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion and
equity, and the ability to live out the university’s mission, vision, and
values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Skills in marketing communication including social media
management and managing website content.
- Proficiency in utilizing various marketing tools and
platforms, such as social media management tools, email marketing software, and
content management systems. Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe
Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.

Compensation at a Glance:
Salary Range: $31,725 - $34,450
Seattle University has provided a compensation range that represents
its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the
time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be
determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected
candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity
considerations, and available market information, and not based on a
candidate’s gender or any other protected status.

Hybrid Eligible*
This
position may be eligible for a hybrid schedule after successful completion of
an introductory work period of 3-6 months. This may mean that a hybrid eligible
role will begin on-campus initially and then will transition to hybrid format
following onboarding and training. Flexible work plans are subject to periodic
review and may be changed or terminated at any time for any reason at the
